NICOLA HOWSE

I work as a local GP partner and also as an appraiser in the Bath area. I am also the programme director for Bath GP Education Research Trust (BGPERT) covering the RUH area for all GPs and GP trainees. We offer a variety of educational events, daytime and evening. As an ST GP trainee at Bath you have membership and are encouraged to attend our events.

REBECCA DUFFY

Becca is a GP partner in Coleford, Somerset and also the Associate Postgraduate Dean for Bath. She leads the educational team responsible for GP training in the Bath area. She has a background in medical education having been a lecturer at the University of Dundee prior to moving to this area. She is married with two children, two cats, two fish, a dog and half a share of a horse!

ADRIAN CURTIS

Adrian is a salaried GP in Melksham, Wiltshire and also one of the programme directors of the Bath Educator team. He is actively involved with the Day Release Course (DRC) and also facilitates ST1 & 2 small group work. His outside interests generally involve the great outdoors; sailing, running and exploring the British Isles.

KAREN PRESS

Karen has worked as a GP Partner for fifteen years in Batheaston. She is a GP Trainer with a special interest in communication and consultation skills. She is a programme director with particular focus on GP Registrar Training on the Day Release Course (DRC). Outside work, she is a busy mother of four children. She enjoys sailing, camping, piano, amateur dramatics and keeping fit.

CHRIS BEVAN

Chris has worked as a GP Partner in Bath for several years. He is a GP trainer with a special interests in Dermatology and Medical education. He is a programme director with particular focus on GP Registrar training on the Day Release Course. Outside work he particularly enjoys extreme fishing!

MARK VOSE

Mark is a GP Partner in Frome and a GP trainer. He has a particular role in supporting local GP trainers and their training practices. He is also Assistant Associate Postgraduate Dean supporting Rebecca Duffy. He has responsibility for implementing the Msc in Primary Care with an interest in innovation and change management. Outside work he enjoys skiing, racing Yachts and mountain biking.

SAM MITCHELL

Sam is a salaried GP in Timsbury, Bath and recently qualified from the bath scheme herself. She has particular responsibility for medical Education within the practice and child protection. She is the GP Educator Fellow within the Educator team. She facilitates an ST1 small group. Her outside interests include hot air ballooning, pottery and running.
