We are a young team of GPs who are enthusiastic about general practice and teaching. We have two approved trainers; Ann and Vicki, with Claire involved in medical student teaching. All the GPs and staff are however committed to training and supporting our trainees.

We value a good work-life balance, whilst providing good quality patient care. Our combined outside interests include walking, skiing, tennis, photography, writing, craft and attendance at numerous school events!!

The Practice:
We are a friendly, paper-light EMIS PCS practice, working in a modern single storey building with easy parking, situated about 5 miles south west of Bath, in the village of Peasedown-st-John. Originally an old mining community, we now have a large ‘commuter estate’ and are on the doorstep of the Circle Hospital. We have over 6500 patients covering all social demographics, with a large number of young families. We cover the surrounding rural villages of Shoscombe, Wellow, Carlingcott and Camerton, and have access to Paulton Hospital for xrays, physio and maternity services. We offer extended hours each morning from 7.30 and one late evening a week.

The Team:
Our fantastic practice team includes, 4 excellent practice nurses who operate a successful triage system and run Asthma/COPD, CHD, Stroke, Diabetes and Well Women clinics. They are supported by our brilliant HCA who provides phlebotomy, hypertension clinics and stop smoking support. We work closely with our 2 district nurses, health visiting team, midwives, counsellor, physio and drugs/alcohol worker (who visits fortnightly). The team is kept under control by our efficient practice manager, Anne Davies, and ably backed up our lovely reception team, office manager and secretary.
