Smallbrook Surgery part of Frome Medical Practice Trainers: Prospective trainer: Warminster 01985 846700 We are a small and friendly practice in the market town of Warminster, 15 miles south of Bath caring for a list of 3600 patients. The practice is part of Frome medical practice which currently 4 other active GP trainers, Mark Vose and Pippa Griling based at Saffron Surgery and Tom Cahill and Diane Bungay both at the Health centre in Park Road, Frome. Weekly teaching sessions are integrated with all the practice registrars receiving topic based teaching together plus each registrar has personal tutorials with their own trainer. You would have opportunity to work within our small close knit team whilst at the same time benefiting from involvement in the larger practice in Frome. All doctors and staff are enthusiastic and keen to help with teaching both as opportunities arise and in regular weekly sessions. We are a PMS practice and have used this as opportunity to sub specialise across all sites and enhance the role of Nurses within the practice. We continue to explore innovations and welcome fresh ideas from all sources. We are actively involved with consortium of practices in West Wilts in working towards GPCC. We currently are medical cover for the 18 bedded ward at Warminster hospital and liaise closely with hospital staff. We have a full compliment of attached primary care staff: nurse practitioner/surgery manager, practice nurses, health visitors, district nurses, midwives, nursing assistants. |
