Dr Katie Proffitt and Dr Helen Pauli are both qualified GP Trainers. All the doctors and practice staff are committed to training. We aim to make the Registrar feel fully involved in the team. We have 7,200 patients who mainly live in a well defined practice area. We do not have problems with traffic congestion or difficulty parking. Our patients span all social classes but the majority are from social classes 3 – 5 with a higher than average number of young families and children and a lower than average number of elderly. Our out of hours on-call commitment is light as we participate in the Bath Doctors Co-Op. We work from two main surgeries. St. Michael’s is a purpose built health centre which was built in the 1970’s and has been extensively extended since then. The Beehive Surgery is a converted Marston’s pub which we opened in February 1998. We offer excellent facilities and teaching. You will have your own well equipped consulting room, experience of an EMIS computer system and access to the NHS Net with the use of a peaceful top floor sitting room/library for quite study. We are 10 minutes away from the Royal United Hospital which has an excellent library. The Partners have the following special interests:- We have on site Chiropody and Chiropracty.
